Wedding Day: Ceremony

After all of the excitement from the morning, it was finally time to seal the deal and get married!

Josh and I chose not to have a flower girl or a ring bearer and only one of our grandparents was able to attend, so despite having a large wedding party, the entrance did not take that long.

After the family processional started the bridesmaids. I am blessed to have a large group of wonderful friends.

Then it was time for my Daddy and I to make that epic walk. Keeping with the theme of the day, I was still very emotional. But my Daddy held my hand and told me it would be ok. This sounds  cheesy, but that walk with him was one of my favorite moments of the day and just like I have imagined since I was a little girl. I will cherish that memory forever.

Lifting my veil

This is one of my favorite pictures. My dad had just whispered to Josh to "take care of his little girl" and then he gave us the biggest hug. It was so sweet. It also must have gotten him a bit flustered because he turned away too quickly and tripped over my veil. Luckily, he didn't fall and my veil stayed in place and it gave everyone a giggle.

Josh and I chose to have a full mass. So, like the service we go to every Sunday, we had several readings throughout the ceremony.

Anytime people were sitting, Josh and I were kneeling. I was nervous about this at first but it ended up not being that bad. #crossfit

My childhood priest led the ceremony, and it was beautiful. He talked about how the bible is a love story and related everything to marriage and the commitment we were making to one another. I am so thankful that we decided to get a videographer after all. I have loved getting to relive that moment and hear those meaningful words again.

Woo hoo! Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell!

I was thinking "Let's Partyyyyyy"

More to come next week...
