This Land Is Your Land...

With today being Election Day, I knew I wanted to show my American Pride. This was my first time visiting the actual polls in over 7 years as I have voted absentee ever since I moved to DC. Josh and I woke up early to beat the lines and ended up being some of the only people there. Either way, I was dressed for the occasion in my red, white and blue!

My Editor-in-Chief (aka Josh) thought this outfit looked too much like my last "What I Wore" post. But I disagreed and decided to post it anyway. Yes both posts feature jeans, Target thermals (I bought a few more after my last post) and vests. Yet most items are different colors and/or brands and thus, so different in my eyes ;)

For the past few weeks I have been in search of the perfect puffer vest. I had been debating between two from Gap but couldn't decide which one I liked more. But then they had this incredible one-day sale where everything was 40% off. That made the decision for me, and I bought them both! The red vest I am featuring today is thick, warm, and I love the bright color. I also like that the hood is detachable. Sometimes you just don't want a hood in your way.

On a totally random note, I watched "Crazy Stupid Love" the other night, and I can't stop thinking about the scene where Jacob (Ryan Gosling) tells Cal (Steve Carell) "be better than the Gap." You might be hot Jacob, but you are wrong about the Gap. They have some great things right now!

JEANS: 7 For All Mankind similar here but love these
SCARF: Gift found on Etsy
BOOTS: Old Lucchese

Did you vote today?
