Wedding Wednesday: Crying

I am going to put it out there straight:

I am a crier...

and not a dainty one either. I straight up bawl.

On the day Josh proposed, I cried. When I told my parents, I cried. I cried when I showed my dad pictures of me in my dress. I cried when my Mom and I were simply discussing how much fun the wedding is going to be. I even cried at my bachelorette party!

I already know that I will cry on August 23rd...probably multiple times. However, I want to hear from you.

Did you cry at your wedding?

Was it an ugly cry?

Or did you all of a sudden feel cool as a cucumber and successfully walk down the aisle looking radiant? If so, how did you keep it together? I can only hope that will happen but right now I am thinking it will be something more like this:

  1. lol it's OK to cry!! Just make sure your mascara is waterproof and/or your fake lashes are glued very well to your lids!! You will look absolutely stunning no matter what, though!

I did cry slightly walking down the aisle and a couple of other points during the day. I don't know how I held it together because I cried a lot during the weeks prior since I was so exhausted lol!

    1. Thank you Mary! I honestly tear up when looking at stamps lately. Haha! Definitely wearing Waterproof everything!

  2. I ugly cried the whole time! As soon as my dad and I turned the corner, we made eye contact and I lost it. I saw Phil and lost it more - and it never stopped! I second the recommendation that your lashes be glued on TIGHT, because mine started to come off from all the tears...
