Weekend Recap: Grown Sexy

Josh had to work pretty much all weekend so I used his absence as an excuse to be a hermit for another weekend in a row...and I loved every second of it (minus the Josh working part)!

Friday got started with a Sex and the City marathon, wine and sushi delivery. I think I have seen every episode of SATC at least 100 times and it never gets old.

The next morning, Josh took his only break from work to attend our first Pre-Cana class with me. I am going to go into more detail about Pre-Cana later, but overall I really enjoyed the class and it made me even more excited to marry my handsome man. The only negative was the class was held in a FREEZING room. Once it ended Josh and I made a dash to get some warm soup muy pronto!

On Sunday, I met up with Lanie, her college roommate Erin, and Emily for brunch at Boqueria. They have an all you can drink/eat brunch for $39.00 bucks, and we gladly participated. If you live in DC and haven't been, add this place to your list. Not only are the tapas flavorful and delicious, but you really can't beat that price!
Only thing left after all you can eat and drink...I was sooooo full!

That night was the event I had been looking forward to all weekend...The Bachelor Wedding. I bought a 6 dollar mini-cake and popped a bottle of bubbly in honor of the happy couple, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici. I loved every minute of the two hour special and giggled over all of the awkward moments. If you do not follow this Bachelor couple, they have remained abstinent until their wedding night (bow chica wow wow) so there were a lot of funny moments throughout the show involving lingerie, a honeymoon suite, and lots of innuendos. However, despite these laughable events, the ceremony was full of love and emotion. Sean's dad was the officiant and he honestly stole the show! I can't wait to read Mix and Match Mama's recap about the wedding. She is not only one of my favorite bloggers, but she also happens to be Sean's sister.

Congrats Sean and Catherine!

How was your weekend?

Did you watch The Bachelor Wedding?

If so, what was your favorite part?
Sean's dad as the officiant and the term "Grown Sexy" which was Catherine's theme for the wedding and repeated a million times all night.
