White House Christmas Tour

Last week I went on a tour of the White House. If you are ever in DC in December try to go on this tour. Going to the White House is cool on a normal day, but at Christmas time it is spectacular. Every single room is decorated with gorgeous trees, flowers and garlands, and it puts you in the holiday spirit. Another added bonus is you are allowed to take picutures. On a regular tour that it is not the case. Here are a few pics from that cold winter morning:
It was 19 degrees outside making it very chilly while waiting to go through security.
Nancy Reagan
Holiday Selfie (I took a lot of selfies on the tour)
China Room
All of the flower arrangements were breathtaking.
State Dining Room
Proving what we already know (that Texas is the best state evaaaa), there were little nods to the Lone Star State throughout the tour. Here I am with an Alamo ornament.
Leaving the warm tour and back into the cold!

I have been fortunate enough to go on the Christmas tour several times and it is one of my favorite things to do in DC during the Holidays. This year's tour was one of the better ones in my opinion and put me in the best mood all day!

What puts you in the Christmas Spirit?
