Last week was INSANE at work. By the time Friday night came around all I want to do was order take out sushi and be a bum. I did order the sushi, but I was not a bum. I spent most of the night getting ready for my big move the next morning.

The next morning I woke up VERY Early (for a Saturday). I did a few more things to get ready for moving day and then I went to CrossFit. In hindsight, I am not sure that was the best idea since I had a long day of lifting and loading ahead, but I loved the WOD and wanted to do it. So I did:
50 Thrusters (45/35)
40 Hand-Release Push Ups
30 Sit Ups
20 Box Jumps (24/20)
10 Slam balls (20/15)
Row 750m
10 Slam Balls (20/15)
20 Box Jumps (24/20)
30 Sit Ups
40 Hand-Release Push Ups
50 Thrusters (45/35)
I finished in 24:16 Rx. The thrusters at the very end were the hardest part in my opinion because my arms were shot by then. After CF, Josh and I refueled with Brooklyn Bagel.

The rest of the day was spent cleaning and moving. I hired a moving company and it was a great decision. Despite not having a lot of stuff, I still have very heavy furniture and unlike in Texas, none of my friends own trucks. So the moving company was money, and by 3:30pm I was fully moved in to my new little studio.
Even though Josh and I had a busy day there was no time to rest. Immediately after moving, we got ready and went over to Lanie & Dave's Holiday Housewarming. There was scrumptious food and wonderful company, and even though I was exhausted, I had a great time. I even got a second wind and went out on H-Street with the ladies!
On Sunday, Josh and I ran a million errands. We adopted two little girls at church for their Saint Nicholas project and spent a lot of time at Target picking out their gifts. I also bought a lot of things you forget you need when moving into a new place: Windex, paper towels, trash bags, etc. By 5pm when Josh and I got to church to deliver the gifts I was EXHAUSTED. After church, I ate dinner and passed out at like 8:45pm. It was a busy but fantastic weekend.
