5 Things Friday

This has been a BUSY but great week. I started my new volunteer position with the Langley Residential Support Services, and I am already in love with all of the consumers there. I also worked out EVERYDAY this week including at 5:30 this morning. It was the perfect way to welcome in the weekend! Woo hoo! Now on to 5 things:

1. I recently got a new App that enables you to photoshop your teeth and make them whiter! As a person who has always wanted pageant white/perfect teeth, I had a blast playing around with the app. I may or may not have already started posting pics on facebook that have been altered with this handy tool. Just search Whitening in the App store and this little joy could be yours!
This is a pic of me with Dustin, my cousin Celeste's husband. I would like to point out that his teeth were already SOOOOO white that I didn't have to do anything to them. Mine however got a bit of a makeover. What do you think?

2. I rarely talk about my job on "The Hill" because I do not like to mix business with pleasure. However, as a result of my time here, I have had the opportunity to do some incredible things as well as meet some spectacular people. On Thursday, I had a chance to cuddle with a baby tiger and snuggle with a chimpanzee. They were both so sweet! My pictures are a bit blurry, but luckily they had a professional photographer there too. Score! Better pics to post to FB later :)

3. Easy Peasy Chicken Pot Pie that I made on Monday. It was scrumptious, and just what I needed to help me get out of my food rut. Have you ever been in a food rut? A food rut is when NOTHING sounds good to eat. I have been in one for about 3 weeks now, but it has finally started to subside. Thank goodness because THIS girl loves her food.
Recipe Next Week!

4. Celebrating sweet Sophie's Birthday at Top of the Hill! We interned together, and she is also an Aggie!

5. Perfect Fillets and Okra Sucatosh for dinner last night. #paleo #meatperfection

Happy Friday Everyone!

  1. Lions and TIGERS and bears - OH MY! Pretty cute, but would not want to be around that guy when he's bigger - fun pic :)
