Weekend Recap: Muscle Up

This weekend was super busy and flew by. I like when the weekend lingers, and it was not the case this past weekend!

On Friday night Josh made shrimp fajitas for dinner and we caught up on House of Cards. Are you watching HOC? It is sooooo good. I may or may not have had several Bud Light Strawberry-ritas too...those things are addicting.

On Saturday, I woke up bright and early to get my WOD on. I was still feeling all of those wall balls from Thursday so I was dragging a bit during the workout.

AMRAP 20 Minutes
16 Jumping Air Squats
12 V-Ups
8 Toes to Bar
4 Ring Dips

My abs were on fire from the v-ups and normally I feel pretty strong with toes to bar, but on Saturday it just wasn't happening.

After the WOD, I went and had breakfast with Josh, and then went right back to the Box. I signed up for a Muscle Up work shop, and we worked on the skill for about 2 hours. It definitely was beneficial for me but my hands were killing me by the end. A manicure was a must!

After a quick shower, I went to Palm Saturday Mass and then treated myself to a much needed mani/pedi. My hands were pretty ripped up from CF, and my feet were in need of some extra TLC as well after the marathon last weekend.

I was exhausted that night after all of that gym time so I hit the hay early.

On Sunday morning, I had to be at a Junior League of Washington event bright and early. Our annual rummage sale was held over the weekend, and I was the official elevator button pusher/greeter.

After my shift, I met my BFFs for some Sunday Funday. We tried out a new wine bar in Clarendon called Screwtop. We all loved it. The atmosphere is bright and festive, and I could easily spend the afternoon there...which we did. We all had wine flights that featured women wine makers. I did the white flight and ended up buying bottles of two of the wines I tried.
My lovely friends and my awesome wine flight.

I am loving Rose lately and was pretty much obsessed with the one I tried in my flight. Just call me Lisa Vanderpump.

After several hours with the ladies, I went over to Josh's and made a Thai dish for dinner. I found the recipe on one of my favorite blogs and you can check it out here: Eat Live Run.
This recipe was super easy. We also served it over Cauliflower rice so it was Paleo too!
After watching The Bible, I hit the hay!

Did you have a good weekend?
-mine was busy but fun

Do you watch the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
