Twilight Update and Remember Bonfire

Last night after a long workout and a much needed shower, the ladies and I headed to the movie theater at about 10pm. We had tickets for the 12:01am showing of Breaking Dawn, and we wanted to make sure that we had the best seats ever...this is an important movie. After a few pictures with the cast, we got in line for the movie.

We had all bought our tickets a month in advance so we were just waiting in line to get a seat. The Chinatown movie theater was showing Breaking Dawn on like 10 screens and the place was packed. I am so glad we got there early!

While we waited for the movie to start we talked about Hunger Games, Jacob, Edward (gross), Hunger Games, Thanksgiving, and Hunger Games. It was a riveting conversation.

At about 11:30 we finally made it to our seats which were awesome, way in the back (which is what I like) and smack dab in the middle. When the lights went out I screamed "JACOB" and then the movie began.

I thought the movie was great...even with Edward's hairy nipples. Although it was about 4 hours past my bed time, I stayed alert and awake the entire time. I do not want to spoil anything for people who want to see it but it is definitely worth seeing in the theater. Bella and Edward's wedding was gorgeous...even though Edward was in it. I might even steal some of their decorating ideas for my own wedding...whenever that happens. That Alice knows how to decorate...get it girl! Edward's personality grew on me a bit...like by a millimeter. Jacob was fantastic as always. He was charming, loyal, loving, and his shirt comes off in the first scene.

What really made the experience great were the girls sitting next to us. I admit it...I am a huge movie talker...I like to yell at the screen and yell "woo-hoo" when Jacob is being showcased. Well the girls next to us were just like me. I think we might have been seperated at birth or something. Here are some of the best lines of the night:

"Get that girl some Chapstick"

"Put some Blush on her"

"Lick your baby" courtesy of Kathryn

"Suck it Edward" (OK...I made that one up)

All in all, it was a great night! If you would like to reread why Jacob is so much better than Edward click here: JACOB RULES and EDWARD DROOLS!

On a more somber note, today is the anniversary of the fall of Bonfire at Texas A&M. I wrote a detailed blog about the day in a post last year which you can find here: Click Me!

I will never forget that day, or all of the families and friends who lost someone they love in the tragedy. They are still in my prayers. I will never forget.

November 18: I am thankful for being a Texas Aggie. Going to Texas A&M was one of the best things that ever happened to me. It is the place where I found wonderful friends, learned the value of tradition, and found a new family...the Aggie family. We support one another through the good times and the bad, and we our united in our love for our University and it's purpose.

We will never forget bonfire.
