Hot'lanta Child in the City

In July, my Mommasita and I went back to Atlanta for Summer Market. On our trip earlier this year, our focus was on furniture and bedding. This time though we concentrated our time and efforts on all things Christmas...although we did get a few other great items as well.

After a wonderful dinner on Friday night, we went to bed and woke up bright and early the next day. Our first stop was to buy some new Christmas trees for her holiday display. I couldn't resist snapping a shot of us in front of the psychedelic neon colored ones. (These WILL NOT be in her store...haha)

While my pretty Momma placed an order for some gorgeous green noble fir trees, I took some shots of Halloween decorations...my all time FAVORITE Holiday! BWHAHAHAHAHA....

I'll get you my pretty....

HOOT! HOOT! HOOT!

From there we went on in search of some other trees but on a smaller scale. In the next show room they really did have a tree for every mood. Snowman Explosion...

...Candy Land just to name a few. I love my candy...so this one was my favorite!

Aren't we a cute pair?

I couldn't get enough of the candy theme. However, my Mom's store is a bit more modern and chic...so we continued on our quest for the best ornaments to decorate her trees.

On day 2 we found the perfect ones...beautiful silver and gold ornaments that had different words engraved on them such as Joy, Hope, and Love. They are GORGEOUS, and so is my Mommasita!

If anyone has ever seen my gold pig that is in my room, this is the same company that he came from. I love that little piglet. This showroom was by far my favorite. They have all sorts of cool things like silver shoes, gold wishbones and more!

After writing the ornament order, Toni and I headed upstairs to look at some linens. As we turned the corner, I did a double take. "Was that who I think it was?" I asked the lady in the showroom next to me. "It sure was" she replied. I couldn't believe it. It was Sal from Mad Men...or Bryan Batt in real life. Before I knew it though, I lost him in the crowd. I was so disappointed. Thus, my mom and I went on with our business. As we walked down the hallway, I day dreamed of what it would have been like to get a picture with him, and then there he was again! Right in front of me. "This is my chance!" I thought. So I went up to him and asked if I could take a picture with him, and being the sweetie pie he is he said but of course! My face turned about as pink as my shorts...

After all of that excitement we decided to head back to our hotel for a lil R&R and happy hour. It was a beautiful day outside and our hotel had an amazing pool, so I suggested that we go swimming (I take my swimsuit with me everywhere.) Sadly my mom hadn't packed hers so we went on yet another adventure in search of a swimsuit. After looking at both the mall and in our hotel gift shop, we decided to check the spa in The Mansion Hotel which was right across from where we were staying. While my mom was purchasing her disposable swimsuit (which was pretty hilarious and not at all flattering), I noticed a man that looked really familiar come out of the Spa. As he walked into the men's locker room, I made eye contact with the lady at the front desk. She gave me a nod and I knew right away...it was JUST JACK...aka Jack from Will & Grace...aka Sean Hayes in real life. This time I knew it was not the right time to ask for a picture, but I did stare at him when he came out to pay his bill. **(Please see Note)**

After all of this excitement, my mom and I decided to get a drink...this was much needed after TWO CELEBRITY SIGHTINGS in one day! So we headed down to The Mansion's bar for a cocktail and to watch the final minutes of the Women's World Cup Final. The bar was so cute and quaint. I loved it...and the Prosecco...

...and these yummy lil sliders!

After our snack and afternoon cocktail we took a few pictures in front of their beautiful hydrangeas...isn't my momma the prettiest....

...my turn!!!!
We had such a great time in Hot'Lanta, and my Mommasita got some amazing things for her store. I declared the trip a huge success, and I enjoyed every second I got to spend with my best friend....Miss Toni Livingston...aka Mommasita!

Happy Friday Everyone....and stay dry and safe. Irene is a coming!

***NOTE***I have a staring problem...I have come to accept it...please do not judge me! Thank you and good day!
