Hot-Lanta

This Thursday I am traveling down to Texas to see my best friend...the one and only Toni herself! In honor of this joyous occasion, I am finally sharing the pictures of our trip to Atlanta together way back in January! As most of you know, my beautiful mommasita is an amazing home designer and owns her own store down in the Valley. In order to fill her store with beautiful things, my momma must travel to market to find new designers and merchandise. This year we made the trip to Atlanta's market. Despite a snowapocalypse that engulfed the city, we made it there safely. After a wonderful dinner and some wine, we hit the hay to get ready for a long day of discovery.

Atlanta Market is GINORMOUS! It is literally three 20-story buildings filled with vendors in every square foot of the compound. The first thing Miss Toni and I discovered were some beautiful baby-mohair blankets and shawls.
Isn't she gorgeous!
At Market one can find anything and everything their heart desires. From things that make you think of Narnia...
The whole world is right at your finger tips...
If you are looking for some religious relics...well they have them...
And it is Christmas everyday of the year at Market!

There are hats...perfect for a Mad Hatter Tea Party...
Market has plenty of shoppers like this fun Mother/Daughter Pair...
Furniture and luxurious bedding to your hearts content...
Brightly bound books....
Incredible Artwork...
and lots of Hot Squash!
This is something new my mom will be carrying in her store. The designer above makes all of these by hands, and she grows the pumpkins herself. They are absolutely adorable!
Love the orange and the steel blue...
Always need the perfect lighting...you can find it at Market...or at TLC Gallery...
Cute straw purses....
And Christmas yet again!
Our weekend ended with some Marsh mellow snow!

Toni and me really had an incredible weekend (minus a short blurp where I had a wine induced emotional breakdown...hey...it happens!). We laughed, I cried, we drank, we hugged, and we loved each other....all while discovering new, delightful things for her store!

I love you Momma! I can't wait for our adventures this weekend!
